Hola! I’m Natalia Arévalo, a Colombian filmmaker and producer based in San Francisco. I develop and produce documentary and branded video projects from concept through post, shaping stories that feel cinematic, intimate, and grounded in real experience.
My work focuses on culture, identity, memory, and music, often through a documentary lens. I’ve collaborated on projects for HBO Max, Paramount+, Netflix, and A+E Networks, bringing both creative direction and production leadership to stories at different scales.
Some of the projects I’m most proud of center the Latine experience, including the feature documentary REBBECA, premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival 2025 and the Emmy-nominated® series UNVEILED: SURVIVING LA LUZ DEL MUNDO. Whether I’m working on a documentary series, a branded short, or an independent production, I’m drawn to stories that feel honest, human, and emotionally resonant.
I’ve led crews across borders, managed complex productions and timelines, and produced film festivals and events throughout the U.S. and Latin America. Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, I specialize in storytelling that connects across cultures, using language and narrative as bridges between communities.
I collaborate closely with brands, agencies, and creatives who are looking to tell meaningful stories with depth and intention, from early development through final delivery.
